Collaboration networks

The ICTS-RBD participates in several national and international networks aimed at facilitating scientific research and knowledge transfer through the open interchange of data, metadata, experience and knowledge.

These include thematic network that share animal population data – such as the International Waterbird Census coordinated by Wetlands International, the national bird censuses SACRE and SACIN,  the Butterfly Monitoring Scheme coordinated by Butterfly Conservation Europe, and the Catalan Butterfly Monitoring Scheme.

They also include international networks that share long-term, inter-disciplinary data on socio-ecosystem dynamics and conservation, such as the Long Term Ecological Research Network (LTER-Europe) and LifeWatch. As part of its compromises with LTER, ICTS-RBD documents all its long-term observations at the DEIMS repository.
