Confirmation of the usual presence of the blue crab (Callinectes sapidus) in the Doñana National Park
As a result of the monitoring of the tidal channels that connect the estuary with the Doñana marshland, carried out during the month of September - days 11 and 26 -, numerous specimens of blue crab (Callinectes sapidus) were captured again. In addition to confirming in this way the usual presence of the species in the Doñana National Park, these captures are interesting because it coincides with a decrease in catches in other areas of the estuary where the species begins to be commercially...

A dead white stork (Ciconia ciconia) founded in Doñana because of the intake of plastics.
At the end of June of this year 2019, a specimen of white stork (Ciconia ciconia) appeared dead in Marisma de Hinojos, inside the Doñana National Park. This data would not have more significance if it were not for the fact that he had in the digestive system a huge amount of plastic strips, which was the probable cause of his death.
