Bird Ringing Lab

Doñana’s Bird Ringing Lab is a biodiversity monitoring service of ICTS-RBD that focuses on two main tasks:

- Managing and coordinating all scientific ringing activities undertaken at EBD, including the ringing activities of ICTS-RBD’s Doñana Monitoring Program.

- Coordinating in Spain:

i) the supply of the non-metal bird markings (i.e. marks made to be read from far distances).

ii) the databases generated

iii) the information intercommunication service.

For these purposes, our Banding Office coordinates all its activities with the Office of Migratory Species of Spain and EURING.
